Markéta Šenkyřík (*1987)

I am a Czech born and a world citizen, living and working in South of Italy since October 2020. I studied book-design in Ostrava in the Czech Republic and fine arts in Clermont-Ferrand in France before I moved to London. In London I was working as a bookbinder for Shepherds Bookbinders where I learned the craft from the besties, I co-runed an independent non-profit gallery 139artspace and was developing my own and collaborative artistic projects. Now, I am adapting to my new domicile which happened to be the South of Italy. Continuing exercising my craft and connecting it with my artistic practice.
